Automatically Check Photos Against Supporting Documents
Each client can define a custom catalog for the required supporting photos. The AI analyzes uploaded images and automatically compares them against the stored requirements. In doing so, it identifies missing tags—even when corresponding evidence is recognized in the photo—as well as questionable assignments where a set tag cannot be unequivocally confirmed by the image. Unambiguous results can be automatically accepted, while uncertain assignments are specifically flagged for manual review.
Check OTDR Measurement Reports for Validity
In fiber-optic projects, AI also assists in reviewing OTDR measurement reports. Among other things, this involves matching the measurement address with the corresponding network element and verifying the plausibility of the recorded values. Uncertain results are not automatically accepted but are flagged for further review.
Retrieve Specific Project Data
An integrated AI assistant answers questions based on the stored knowledge databases and project data and provides corresponding sources for the answers. Existing access rights are taken into account, ensuring that users receive only the information they are authorized to access within LightDiPS.
For up-to-date analyses from Controlling and reports, the assistant can also access current project data and flag it accordingly.
AI Support with Human Oversight
Automated checks are intended to support the quality of documentation, not to replace expert review. That is why LightDiPS combines AI-powered verification with deliberate approval by the user. Uncertain results are submitted for manual evaluation, while unambiguous classifications can be processed automatically.
The confidence threshold at which a result is automatically classified as unambiguous can be set individually for each client. This ensures that control remains with the user, while recurring and time-consuming verification steps are supported by automation.
The AI functions utilize EU Geo Inference. Data processing is carried out in compliance with the GDPR within the EU.
How does the AI analyze my construction site photos?
The AI analyzes uploaded photos and compares them with the client-specific catalog of required documentation. This process can identify missing or questionable assignments. Unambiguous results can be automatically accepted, while uncertain results are submitted for manual review.
How are uncertain AI results handled?
The confidence threshold can be set individually for each client. Results that do not meet the threshold are submitted for manual review and are not automatically accepted. This ensures that the final check remains with the user.
Does LightDiPS also analyze OTDR test reports?
Yes. The AI can match the measurement address to the corresponding network element and assists in validating the measurement values. Unreliable results are flagged for further review.
What can the AI assistant do?
The AI assistant answers questions based on your project data and knowledge bases and provides sources for the respective answers. In doing so, it takes into account the existing access rights within LightDiPS.
Where is the data for the AI functions processed?
The AI features use EU geo-inference. Data processing is carried out within the EU in compliance with the GDPR.
