Import the Bill of Quantities via GAEB
Bills of quantities can be imported as GAEB X83, and price amendments can be imported via X84 or X86. Alternatively, a CSV import is available. Item hierarchy, sequence numbers, short descriptions, long descriptions, units, quantities, and unit prices are imported into LightDiPS. The bill of quantities can then be assigned to the corresponding areas, work groups, and contract types.
Record measurements directly in the order
The quantities entered are recorded directly in the Workbox for the respective job. Values that can be derived from existing geometries—such as route lengths—can be pre-filled. Once the job is complete, the quantity takeoff is set to read-only. This ensures that recorded and approved quantities remain traceably documented.
Check and Approve Quantities in a Structured Manner
Using the Workbox acceptance feature, the construction management team can review recorded quantities, correct them if necessary, and then approve them. Filters by area, work group, or bill of quantities make it easier to get an overview. The information can be viewed both in tabular form and directly on the map. If necessary, orders that have already been closed can be reopened.
Record measurements right where the work is being done
If quantities are first recorded on the construction site and later manually transferred to other systems, this results in data discontinuities and additional sources of error. LightDiPS records the measurements directly for each job and links the quantities to the corresponding network elements and bill of quantities items.
This reduces the need for manual transfers and creates a reliable basis for review and billing. As-built data from subcontractors can also be assigned to the corresponding items in the bill of quantities using defined mapping rules.
Which GAEB formats does LightDiPS support?
Bills of quantities can be imported via GAEB X83, and price adjustments can be imported via X84 and X86. For quantity takeoffs, an export option as GAEB X31 is available. Additionally, CSV and Excel formats can be used.
Can I use this to model charging infrastructure and solar projects?

How are partial measurements billed?

Do I need separate software for construction billing?
LightDiPS consolidates the scope of work, quantity takeoff, acceptance, and export for further billing into a single, centralized area. This allows key steps in the billing process to be handled without the need for additional interim solutions.
