We built what was missing in the market ourselves. Netzkontor has been planning, building, and documenting electricity, fiber-optic, and heating networks for years, and at some point it became clear that off-the-shelf software was slowing down our processes rather than speeding them up. This experience led to the development of DiPS OM, LightDiPS, and UDO, complemented by inseyet, which resulted from our collaboration with Fiber Experts. These aren’t off-the-shelf tools—they’re solutions that understand how a network rollout actually works.

Why Our Software Works Differently from Construction Site Apps

A grid project works differently than a building construction project. Grid levels, routes, permits, funding requirements—the software has to account for all of these, otherwise it isn’t really helpful. That’s exactly where the difference lies: Our solutions come from real-world construction experience, not from the drawing board of a pure-play software company. We’ve actually needed the features ourselves on the construction site.

The streamlined management platform for infrastructure projects. LightDiPS is up and running quickly, without lengthy customization, making it ideal for small- and medium-sized projects and for getting started with digital management.

UDO, Mobile Construction Site Documentation

The Universal Document Operator captures photos, sketches, forms, and assignments directly on-site, both online and offline. UDO feeds its data back to DiPS and LightDiPS.

inseyet, digital surveying and construction monitoring

Our collaborative product with Fiber Experts, inseyet, uses a smartphone to perform 3D surveys of construction sites, tracks FTTH construction progress in real time, and provides as-built documentation that meets even the most stringent client requirements. It features a modular design and can be integrated with existing systems.

Open Access Business Manager

With the OABM, you can automatically offer your customers wholesale products such as L2 bitstream access. The Open Access Business Manager helps you manage all open access processes, from quoting to billing.

Do I need to have my own IT department to use your software?

No. LightDiPS is intentionally kept simple and is quick to set up. For deeply integrated systems such as DiPS OM, we provide support during implementation.

Is the software really from Netzkontor?

Yes. We developed DiPS OM, LightDiPS, and UDO ourselves because we need them in our day-to-day network construction projects. inseyet was developed in collaboration with Fiber Experts Deutschland.
