The Applications of Our Software Solutions for More Efficient Fiber-Optic Network Deployment!

The following table lists, in alphabetical order, the possible areas of application for our software solutions.

More information about the construction diary will follow shortly!

Mapping, managing, planning, and executing a construction process (e.g., as part of broadband network expansion) requires a software solution capable of chronologically mapping, managing, and documenting the numerous processes involving the various individuals and companies involved.

Our software solution, DiPS OM/Broadband, can cover all aspects of a digital construction process:

  • Central Information and Documentation Platform
  • Network documentation
  • Graphical representation of the entire network and its objects (route, PoP, MFG, manhole, pipe network, APL, ONT...), including the deployment status
  • Management of service providers via electronic work orders (approval, construction, acceptance...)
  • Generation of reports
  • Escalation Management

Depending on requirements, these can also be adapted to specific cases and, if necessary, expanded or linked to additional areas of application.

Photographic documentation is required for certain activities, such as subsidized fiber-optic network expansion. These are usually taken with a mobile device and subsequently sent—for example, via email—to the appropriate people, in the hope that they won’t get lost in the daily workload and will be assigned to the correct project and person.

To prevent careless mistakes, we offer a solution that centrally organizes photo documentation.

Through our app:

  • Photos are taken directly on mobile devices (simple uploads are not allowed to prevent fraud)
  • Photos are labeled, if necessary, to provide a more detailed explanation of the object
  • Geo-coordinates are attached to the image via GPS location
  • Identify the individuals in the documentation (by logging into their user account on the device)

The photo documentation is stored in a database. Depending on the use case, future documentation tasks can be compared with those already completed. This way, you, too, can keep track of all photo documentation!

With our software solutions, you can easily document and manage service connection inspections digitally, on mobile devices, and paperlessly, exactly as you envision. The following aspects can be tracked:

  • Assigning customer appointments to specific employees
  • Pre-defining required fields in the digital document
  • Automatic integration of existing data and descriptions into the document
  • Mobile & paperless data entry via a mobile device
  • Integration of photos and inspection images into the document
  • Embedding of signatures

During and after a construction phase, incomplete or defective work frequently occurs. These defects are often reported to countless people by phone or email.
We have dedicated our time and expertise to developing a structured and centralized communication solution.

With our defect reporting tool, you can:

  • Geographically map defects
  • Describe defects and provide further details with a photo
  • Photos and descriptions are listed and displayed centrally in a web-based system

Communication channels are streamlined and made more efficient.

Among other things, our software solutions enable mobile and paperless work on the go. This is particularly advantageous when data related to specific projects or construction initiatives needs to be collected and stored in a central database.

With our UDO app, for example, any documents, contracts, and tasks can be digitally mapped, and associated work orders can be assigned to specific individuals and scheduled.
For example, you can:

  • Product contract agreements (e.g., with or without specific customer and/or date assignments)
  • Customer data entry
  • End-customer contracts
  • and many other types of contracts

These can be customized individually and adapted to your own terms and conditions. By linking to a CRM, the recorded data can then be uploaded.
